About Our Library
Lineville Elementary School Library's collection consists of over 13,000 books. Efforts are made to provide a wide variety of reading material for information gathering as well as pleasure reading. Most of our books indicate the reading level just inside the front cover. Many of our students participate in the Accelerated Reader program.

Suggestions for additions to the collection are sought from faculty, students and parents.

The library supports literacy in our school by participating in the AR program, by hosting the annual book fair, by participating in Read Across America, by overseeing the Read to Succeed program, and by encouraging students to read for information and pleasure. We have an annual Family Reading Night in which we seek to convey the importance of children reading with the important adults in their lives.
